Serving GTA families from North York, Richmond Hill, and Markham since 2012.
Safety is the starting point for every lesson. Every instructor at WD Swim is certified in First Aid and CPR and completes Lifesaving Society–approved training focused on in-water emergencies, choking response, and AED use. We also run regular safety refreshers, emergency drills, and maintain lifeguard coverage to ensure a consistently safe environment.
Our class sizes are deliberately kept small, with most group programs capped at four students per instructor in 30-minute lessons. This allows instructors to stay in the water with students, give individualized feedback, and adjust the pace for each swimmer, rather than running large, diluted classes.
Each WD Swim pool is a warm, shallow, 31-degree saltwater environment. The shallow depth makes transitions safe and comfortable, and the saltwater system is gentler than traditional chlorinated pools, especially for frequent swimmers and young children. Facilities include hand-held deck showers and individual changing rooms for convenience.
All programs follow the WD Progress Program, a level-based curriculum that develops breath control, floating, stroke technique, and endurance in a structured sequence. From first splashes to four competitive strokes, students move through clear skill milestones, so families can see tangible improvement over time.
Our open-design pools make it easy for swimmers to get in and out, while giving instructors a clear view of multiple lanes and levels. Parents can watch from comfortable viewing areas equipped with seating and free Wi-Fi, so you can see progress without crowding the pool deck.
Whether you are starting with a baby in the pool for the first time or preparing a teenager for advanced training, WD Swim offers level-appropriate programs for every stage. Our curriculum covers water comfort, safety, stroke development, endurance, and pre-competitive skills across a full range of ages.

WD Swim operates three dedicated indoor saltwater pool facilities in North York, Richmond Hill, and Markham. All locations offer evening and weekend lesson times, consistent water temperature, and the same WD Progress Program so families get a similar experience wherever they enroll.
Families across the GTA trust WD Swim for consistent progress, small classes, and a professional yet welcoming environment. Many students join us after trying other schools and stay because they see clear improvement and strong safety standards.
